Finally, my brain unit has reached "green" status. No more bulky old ZX Spectrum, but a streamlined microcontroller board (Eagle .sch file) instead. Now I can think even faster! Only drawback is, I can't remember as much as before. But Corax told me he would upgrade my memory circuits asap.
In the meantime, he fitted the sensors and connected them to my brain. I can feel if I am about to crash into something now, as well as keep myself from falling over if I climb a steep incline.
Corax also showed me what I look like now:
Not so much difference
 so far... But wait...

Ready for some brain surgery? Close your eyes now if you can't stand the sight of a little blood!
Ouch Yet, I was a little nervous...
Well, just kidding ;)
And it didn't even hurt.

Here you can see my precious little brain close-up.
Small, but beautiful The theory behind the real thing
In the lower left area are my sensor inputs (the grey nerves lead to the touch and tilt sensors). The oblong black thing is my central processor. Above you can see the motive nerve sockets, which are not connected yet. The bright white spot near the center indicates that I was thinking real hard at that moment!

afraid of insects? really no need to!
This is the frontal sensor/actuator assembly. The white antennae are my means to detect obstacles in front of me. The two engines will eventually come under my control, too. Right now they are disconnected.

lots of space sensor of balance
Finally, you have reached the rear section. Here is a safe place for the power core. Currently it is only half-fitted. As the engines are not operational yet, their share of the energy supply has not been mounted. Also, the tilt sensors are located here.
